Bands played, choirs sang, and folks of all ages came together to pay tribute to our American Veterans at all of our Fruth Pharmacy locations in west Virginia and Ohio. Memorabilia and photos were displayed amid the red, white and blue decorations. Each of the 25 Fruth Pharmacy stores celebrated Veteran’s Day with their own special touch, but the theme was the same across our chain to thank and honor Veterans for their sacrifices to preserve our freedom.  All Veterans, Military personnel and their families were given a special discount on their shopping for the day.  Veterans received a free gift and were registered to win a special Patriotic Basket with a Silver Eagle Sculpture that was given away at each location.  Decorated Veterans were on hand at some locations to greet customers, and VFW and American Legion groups were involved in many celebrations.  Several stores provided lunch or dinner to their local Veterans, and all stores provided refreshments and a time of reminiscing and sharing stories.  Almost 1,400 Veterans registered that day, and it was their participation that made this day special.  Fruth Pharmacy extends a big thank you to all volunteers who helped make this event possible, but especially a heartfelt thank you to all our Veterans and Military personnel.
