Fruth Pharmacy at the Home & Garden Show
Fruth Pharmacy displayed a well decorated booth full of many featured items for sale in Fruth's 25 locations across West Virginia and Ohio. Some of the featured items were lovely Adirondack outdoor chairs which come in a variety of colors with matching tables. Other featured items included decorative ceramic pots for planting, decorative metal artwork suitable for indoor or outdoor use, bird baths, garden figurines, and many other giftware lines, including West Virginia-made Primitive Glow Candles. Fruth Pharmacy also carries many collegiate items for indoor and outdoor use, including a new line of WVU, Marshall and Ohio State jackets and sweatshirts which will be available in the fall - just in time for football season!
WSAZ's, John Marra, purchased one of the Fruth Pharmacy WVU jackets at the Home Show.
At the Home & Garden Show, one lucky winner received a set of Adirondack chairs and a table, and another winner took home a large Easter basket. Fruth Pharmacy also distributed 5,000 coupons for an additional 25 cents off each gallon of milk to kick off the promotion with the Children's Hospital at Cabell Huntington. For each gallon of milk purchased at Fruth Pharmacy in 2010, 5 cents will be donated to help build a new hospital for the children of West Virginia, southern Ohio, and eastern Kentucky. An additional $75.00 was collected for the Children’s Hospital in donations from visitors to the Fruth Pharmacy booth.
The NEW Fruth Rx Savings Club was also unveiled at the Home & Garden Show. "This is our discount club which offers $4 generics for a 30 day supply, $10 generics for a 90 day supply, and a discount on all other generic and brand medications. There are 5,000 medications total which are now discounted for Fruth Rx Savings Club members," said Fruth Pharmacy Chairman of the Board Lynne Fruth. Members also receive up to 40% off all EYEMEDS services at participating optometrists (such as LensCrafters), and a discount on Beltone Hearing Aids and services. Even pets are included with a discount on certain pet medications with Human NDCs. "The Home Show gave us a chance to educate the public about the comprehensive nature of the Fruth Rx Savings Club, which is much, much broader in scope than most other savings programs," said
