Fruth Loves Pets Too! Fruth Donates to Dog Bless
Charleston, W.Va. (October 26, 2012) – Fruth Pharmacy recently made a donation to the Dog Bless Organization. Dog Bless is a local non-profit organization that strives to reduce euthanasia at shelters through assisting in the rescue and adoption of stray and surrendered animals. To date, Dog Bless has saved 279 dogs.
Dog Bless was running low on much needed supplies. In order to assist Dog Bless, Fruth Pharmacy donated 2000 tablets of Doxycycline and ten cases of Amoxicillin suspension, and working with partners Anda Pharmaceuticals and TrueScience, over 60 units of HeartShield™ were also donated to help keep shelter dogs healthy. Fruth Pharmacist Randi Robinson, a dog lover and Dog Bless volunteer, brought the needs of Dog Bless to the attention of Fruth Pharmacy. Randi and her husband became involved with the local group after spending several summer vacations volunteering at dog rescue facilities.
Fruth will continue to work to be able to provide for future donations of pet medications to Dog Bless.
If you would like to assist Dog Bless with donations, please contact the organization through e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also contact Dog Bless through their Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/WVAnimalShelter#!/dogblessadvocacy.
