HUNTINGTON – Recovery Point Huntington and Fruth Pharmacy announced the winners of two $2,000 scholarship yesterday.
The pharmacy donated the $4,000 worth of scholarship money to help foster continued education of Recovery Point clients and graduates.

“I’m very grateful for what Recovery Point has done for me both in my recovery and now for me in my education,” said Roberts.
Roberts received his bachelor’s degree in English and is now pursuing a master’s degree in teaching. He also received the Fruth Scholarship to help him complete his degree last year.
Robinette will graduate in the spring with a history degree and also plans on pursuing a master’s degree in teaching.
Lynne Fruth, President and Chairman of Fruth Pharmacy, presented the award to the two and commended them for their success academically and in recovery.
Mayor Steve Williams was also there to congratulate the men on their achievements.
“When I meet someone in recovery, my respect goes right through the clouds because of what you are accomplishing,” the Mayor said. “But this is a day to not just celebrate what you already have accomplished but also because of your future and the lives you will touch moving forward.”
