April 17th, 2017 by Robert Clark

Point Pleasant, W.Va. (January 11, 2017) – On Monday, January 11th, Fruth Pharmacy presented the WV Breast and Cervical Screening Program (WVBCCSP) with a check for over $1,000.

Fruth was able to provide these funds to the WVBCCSP thanks to customer support.

Each October, Fruth Pharmacy holds an event for Breast Cancer Awareness.  Several stores chose to use their event to collect funds for the WVBCCSP.  Customers purchased balloons, bake sale items, and participated in various events across the state to help raise funds for this organization and many others.

The WVBCCSP is a health program that helps uninsured or underinsured women in West Virginia gain access to breast and cervical cancer screening services.  For assistance, please call toll-free: 800.642.8522.  Anna Reno, Health Information Specialist, can also be reached for more information at 304-275-0339 or areno@hsc.wvu.edu.
