Fruth Pharmacy Presents $5,000 to the West Virginia University School of Pharmacy
Each year Fruth Pharmacy holds a scholarship golf tournament in August to support approximately 20 scholarships for students in West Virginia and Ohio. Lynne Fruth, President and Chairman of the Board of Fruth is shown presenting a check for $5,000 to Dean Patricia Chase of the West Virginia University School of Pharmacy. The money is used to provide two scholarships each year for students in the School of Pharmacy. Dean Chase was at the Clay Center in Charleston on November 17th for a special reception to introduce leadership from the WVU Health Sciences Department. Chancellor Christopher Colenda, M.D. introduced the Deans from the Schools of Nursing, Pharmacy, Medicine, Dentistry and Cancer Treatment Center. The reception was an opportunity for people in the Charleston area to meet the leaders of the WVU Health Sciences Center.
