Fruth Pharmacy says Good-bye to Brittany Snodgrass
Point Pleasant, W.Va. (June 25, 2013) – On June 25th, Fruth Pharmacy held a luncheon in honor of Dr. Brittany Snodgrass, a resident pharmacist at Fruth Pharmacy. Dr. Snodgrass recently completed her community pharmacy residency requirements. She also successfully completed an academic teaching certificate at the University of Charleston School of Pharmacy.
“Brittany contributed much to our patients and pharmacy during her time here,” stated Craig Kimble, Director of Pharmacy and Clinical Services. “Amongst many of her duties, Brittany was responsible for patient and prescription counseling in our Point Pleasant Patient Care Center. Many of our patients found this service beneficial.”
Earlier this year, Dr. Snodgrass had received a special grant from the AphA Foundation for her project on medication counseling once a patient is released from the hospital.
Snodgrass has plans to return to her hometown of Portsmouth, OH and enter the workforce in a joint position with Southern Ohio Medical Center and the University of Charleston.
“She will be missed,” continued Kimble. “She performed her duties above and beyond. Our next resident has big shoes to fill.”
Replacing, Dr. Snodgrass, will be new resident, Chris Booth from Madison, WV.
