Point Pleasant, W.Va. – (August 20, 2018) – In September, Fruth Pharmacy will begin to carry a new product, Hope Products coffee, which will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

“St. Jude’s is a great place,” Marc Lippert, Category Manager for Fruth Pharmacy stated when asked about his decision to carry Hope Products, “I’m not sure people know everything they do.  We never stepped in the door, but my son’s condition was sent to them by Children’s Hospital to analyze.  They were then able to provide needed information to Children’s to help in my son’s treatment and recovery from a rare genetic illness.”

Hope Products coffee will be available in different flavors.  You can purchase a bag of ground coffee or K-Cups.  A portion of profits from the sale of a Hope Coffee product will go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Under 50% of wholesale profits from Hope Products directly support St. Jude Children’s Research hospital; no less than $250,000 annually.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital opened its doors on February 4, 1962.  Their focus is on childhood cancer research.  Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food.  The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.  Consistent with the vision of their founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion, or a family’s ability to pay.

Fruth Pharmacy is a family owned company.  Currently, Fruth Pharmacy has 30 locations in West Virginia, Ohio, and Kentucky.  Fruth Pharmacy will celebrate 66 years in business this November.
