Fruth Donates to WVU School of Pharmacy

Dean Patricia Chase, Ph.D., accepts a donation from Lynne Fruth, President and Chairman of the Board for Fruth Pharmacy. Tom Mennighan CEO of American Pharmacists Association and member of the WVU Pharmacy Visiting Committee was in attendance.

Morgantown, W.Va. – Fruth Pharmacy recently made a donation to West Virginia University School of Pharmacy.  Lynne Fruth presented Dean Patricia Chase, Ph.D. with a check (Insert amount of dollars) to help support current scholarships for pharmacy students at WVU.

“Fruth Pharmacy is committed to assisting in the development of the next generation of pharmacists. Most of these graduating students will be serving the rural communities of West Virginia and Ohio. We are very glad for the opportunity to help these students acheive their educational goals.” said Lynne Fruth of her donation to WVU.

WVU School of Pharmacy’s mission is to improve the health and well-being of West Virginians and society at large by educating students and practitioners to provide optimal pharmaceutical care; conducting vital research that advances scientific knowledge, pharmacy practice, and economic development; and providing direct and supportive services to patients, the community, and the profession.
