Mason County Community Foundation
Jack E. and Frances "Babs" Fruth Scholarship Fund
This scholarship was established in 2007 by the community and family donors following Mr. Fruth's death. The scholarship is awarded to a Mason County High School, West Virginia graduate who will be enrolled full time in an accredited college or university in West Virginia. The candidate may be pursuing either a two year or a four year degree. The candidate must have a high school GPA of 3.5 or above.

~Honoring excellence in Mathematics~
Beginning with 2011-2012 School Year, Fruth Pharmacy will award a $200 scholarship to the top scoring Math Field Day Senior from each of the following high schools: Buffalo High School, Hurricane High School, Poca High School, Winfield High School at Teays Valley Christian School. Winners will be determined by scores at the County Math Field Day.

Established in 2001, this is an endowed scholarship with the income providing scholarships to students in good standing interested in community pharmacy with preference to students from West Virginia or the Ohio counties of Washington, Athens, Meigs, Gallia, Jackson, Pike, or Lawrence.
