MASON, West Virginia – Wahama Head Football coach, Ed Cromley, received a nice surprise Thursday, September 6th.
Thanks to generous support from Wahama fans, Wahama High School received a $240.00 check.
Last season, Wahama was undefeated and state playoff bound. Amy Nelson, Buyer and Gift Category Manager for Fruth, quickly went to work getting a t-shirt designed to commemorate the perfect season. Fans responded and purchased the shirts to wear during the playoff games.
Ten percent of funds of all high school athletic gear sold at Fruth go back to the individual schools. Wahama fans helped garnish those extra funds for their school.
“We love supporting our local school districts,” stated Lynne Fruth, President and Chairman of the Board. “We were so proud of Wahama for advancing to the playoffs. We wish Wahama another great season! We are so glad we can give back to our schools. We hope these funds are an extra boost to help support our youth in their academic & extracurricular activities in the program of the school’s choice.”
